By following these simple tips, parents can help prevent baby gas and make their little ones more comfortable. Remember to always consult with your pediatrician if you have concerns about your baby's health or feeding.
]]>Baby led weaning is an approach to introducing solid foods to your baby that involves allowing your baby to self-feed with finger foods rather than spoon-feeding purees. While this method can be beneficial for promoting independence and improving oral motor skills, it can also come with its own set of challenges, including the possibility that your baby may not eat as much as you expect during the weaning process. In this blog, we will discuss some of the reasons why your baby may not be eating during baby led weaning and provide some tips on how to encourage your baby to eat.
]]>It's normal for babies to have a slower start
It's important to remember that every baby is different, and some babies may take longer than others to get the hang of eating solid foods. Some babies may be hesitant to try new foods at first, while others may need some time to develop the hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills necessary to pick up and manipulate finger foods. Be patient and keep offering a variety of healthy foods in a safe and supportive environment.
Your baby may not be hungry
Babies have small stomachs and may not be hungry at every mealtime. If your baby is not interested in eating, it may be because they are simply not hungry. You can try offering food at different times of the day or spacing out meals and snacks to give your baby time to build up an appetite.
Your baby may be teething
Teething can be uncomfortable for babies, and they may not be as interested in eating during this time. Offer cool, soothing foods such as frozen fruits or teething toys to help soothe your baby's gums.
Your baby may prefer certain textures or flavors
Just like adults, babies have their own preferences when it comes to food. Your baby may prefer certain textures or flavors over others, so it's important to offer a variety of foods to see what your baby likes. You can also try combining foods in different ways to create new flavors and textures.
Your baby may not be ready
It's possible that your baby may not be developmentally ready for baby led weaning. If your baby is not showing interest in food or is not able to pick up and manipulate finger foods, it may be best to wait a little longer before trying again.
Tips for encouraging your baby to eat during baby led weaning:
In conclusion, if your baby is not eating during baby led weaning, don't panic. It's normal for babies to have a slower start, and there are many reasons why your baby may not be interested in eating at every mealtime. Keep offering healthy foods, be patient, and remember that every baby develops at their own pace.
]]>As a parent or caregiver of a toddler, you want to ensure that they are getting the nutrition they need to grow and thrive. However, getting them to eat healthy foods can be a challenge. Toddlers are notorious for being picky eaters, and it can be difficult to get them to eat anything besides their favorite foods.
In this blog post, we will explore some tips and strategies for healthy eating with and for toddlers.
]]>In this blog post, we will explore some tips and strategies for healthy eating with and for toddlers.
Offer a variety of foods
One of the best ways to encourage healthy eating habits is to offer a variety of foods. This will help expose your child to different flavors and textures and can help prevent them from becoming too picky. Offer a range of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and proteins, and try to include as many different colors as possible.
Get your toddler involved
Getting your toddler involved in the meal prep process can help them become more interested in trying new foods. Let them help you wash vegetables, stir ingredients, or even pick out the fruits and vegetables they want to eat. This can make mealtimes more fun and interactive for them.
Make healthy foods fun
Making healthy foods fun can help encourage your toddler to eat them. Try cutting fruits and vegetables into fun shapes, arranging them into a colorful rainbow, or making a game out of trying new foods. You can also try making healthy smoothies or fruit popsicles for a fun and healthy snack.
Limit sugary and processed foods
While it can be tempting to give your toddler sugary or processed foods as a quick and easy snack, these foods offer little nutritional value and can actually be harmful to their health. Instead, try to limit these types of foods and offer healthier snacks like fruits, vegetables, and whole grain crackers.
Be patient
Remember that it can take time for your toddler to develop healthy eating habits. Don't get discouraged if they refuse to try a new food or if they only want to eat certain foods. Keep offering a variety of healthy foods, and eventually, they will become more willing to try new things.
Set a good example
Finally, remember that you are your toddler's biggest influence when it comes to healthy eating. Make sure to set a good example by eating a healthy and balanced diet yourself. This will not only help your toddler develop healthy eating habits but can also benefit your own health.
In conclusion, healthy eating with and for toddlers can be a challenge, but it's important to remember that it's a process. By offering a variety of foods, getting your toddler involved in meal prep, making healthy foods fun, limiting sugary and processed foods, being patient, and setting a good example, you can help your toddler develop healthy eating habits that will benefit them for years to come.

Choose the right breast pump: There are different types of breast pumps available in the market, including manual, battery-operated, and electric pumps. Choose one that fits your needs, lifestyle, and budget.
Get comfortable: Find a quiet and comfortable place to pump. Make sure you have everything you need within reach, including a water bottle, a snack, and a comfortable chair.
Prepare your breasts: Massage your breasts and gently stimulate the nipples to encourage milk flow.
Start pumping: Place the flanges (the cups that go over your breasts) on your breasts and make sure they are positioned correctly. Start the pump and adjust the suction and speed until you find the most comfortable setting.
Monitor your milk flow: Keep an eye on the amount of milk being collected in the bottle. If the flow slows down, you can try changing the suction or speed of the pump.
Store the milk: Once you have finished pumping, transfer the milk to a clean, airtight container, such as a breast milk storage bag or a BPA and BPS free container/bottle like the innovative glass silicone-coated Yooforea baby bottle. Label the container with the date and time of pumping.
Feed your baby: When it comes to feeding your baby, the best and safest way to heat the milk and give it to them, is through a glass baby bottle. Yooforea glass silicone coated baby bottles are the best option, as the bottle is soft to touch, shatter-resistant and appliances safe.
Milk Storage
Keep it fresh: Store the milk as soon as possible after pumping, ideally within 2 hours. Store the milk in the back of the refrigerator or freezer, where it's the coldest.
Store in small portions: Store the milk in small portions, so you don't waste any if your baby doesn't finish a bottle. You can store 2 to 4 ounces of milk in each container, like the 3oz newborn Yooforea baby bottle.
Date and label: Label each container with the date and time of pumping. Use the oldest milk first to ensure the freshest milk for your baby.
Thawing and warming: When you are ready to use the milk, you can thaw it in the refrigerator or by running warm water over the container. Warm the milk by placing the container in a bowl of warm water, or by using a bottle warmer.
In conclusion, breast pumping and milk storage are important parts of the breastfeeding journey. With a little bit of preparation and practice, you can make the process seamless and enjoyable. Remember, every mother's experience is different, so don't be afraid to reach out for help if you need it.

We all know that choosing the perfect baby bottle for your baby is a hard task. Many parents get indecisive if they should go with plastic, silicone or glass baby bottles. Like everything else, all types of baby bottles have pros and cons, so we decided to compare some popular bottles in the market, so you can choose the most suitable one for your baby.
Comotomo baby bottle:
Comotomo is made out of silicone and they claim their product is soft and squeezy. They also mention it is easy to clean, microwave, boiling water, sterilizer and dishwasher safe. However, some cons of that bottle are that it falls over easily because of its shape and design and also silicone's soft and squeezable nature may spray a small stream of milk from the nipple when slight pressure is applied. Overall the comotomo bottle is good, but it has some downsides.
Avent bottles:
The Avent baby bottles are very well known since they were the first ones to create the anti-colic system for baby bottles. They do have different types of bottles like plastic and glass. Some of the pros for the plastic version would be the wide nipple with built-in air vents, ergonomic design, wide neck enabling easy cleaning and filling and the attractive price. However, the cons would be the material, since plastic is not safe for the environment and to your baby’s health. Also, plastic is easily stainable and can’t handle higher temperatures properly.
For their glass version, the pros would be the material is way safer and will not scratch or discolor over time. Also, it transfers heat faster than plastic so less time waiting gets the milk to warm up. However, the cons would be the bottle is heavy and if it breaks, it can definitely hurt yourself or your little one.
Dr Brown Bottle:
For the dr brown bottle, some of the pros would be they can fit most breast pumps so you can pump directly into the bottles, affordability and they are unleakable if you use the small discs that comes with it. However the pros are if you don’t use the discs, the bottles will leak, it is hard to clean, also, because of the non flat bottoms, there is the risk of them tipping over as they get more empty and finally they are made out of plastics, which is definitely risky to your baby’s health and bad for the environment.
Tommee Tippee:
For the Tommee Tippee bottle, the pros are it has only three parts and a wide neck opening, making it very easy to assemble, it is lightweight, durable and the contoured shape is more natural for babies to wrap their hands around once they can hold their bottle. However, the cons would be again, it is made out of plastic and it is not very easy to clean.
Yooforea:
For Yooforea Silicone Coated Glass Baby Bottles, the pros would be lightweight, comes in different sizes, the painting doesn’t fade away, made out of glass and coated with borossilate silicone, it is microwave, sterilizer and dishwasher safe, can handle high temperatures, soft to touch, leak proof and shatter resistant. We would definitely recommend Yooforea Baby Bottles as they have all the pros you need and are extremely safe and healthy to your baby.

Babies’ diet, during their first 6 months, will probably consist of breast milk or formula. Their digestive systems are not ready to take anything but milk or formula before 4 months, but you may want to introduce them to some solid foods between 4 and 6 months. Some parents start the introduction to solid foods by adding cereal to their baby’s bottle. However, there is research that proves that’s not a good method. Some of the reasons why you shouldn’t put cereal in your baby’s bottle are:
When you start thinking if you should introduce the solids to your baby, you need to make sure they are ready for it. Some signs will be: they can support their head steadily on their own, can sit upright without help and can grab objects. If you want to try feeding them some cereal, you should do it with a small baby spoon. You can mix 1 tablespoon of single-ingredient, iron fortified cereal with 4 tablespoons of baby formula or breast milk. Once your baby is sitting upright, you can offer them about a teaspoon of the cereal. As your baby learns to swallow and manage the cereal, you can increase the thickness over time. If they enjoy the food, you can try giving them a little more. If they are not interested, don’t force it, you can try again another day. Once they mastered cereal, you can try giving them pureed fruit or veggies with no added ingredients. It is better to give them one kind of fruit or vegetable at a time. You can also try giving your baby pureed meat. You should wait 5 days after introducing each food to check for a reaction.

Sterilizing baby bottles is a big topic for parents when it comes to ensuring their baby’s developing immune system is protected. Usually, sterilizing baby bottles is a one-and-done deal, especially when you first buy the bottle. After the purchase, you don’t know where the bottle was, so doing it as an initial step before using it can ensure the baby’s health and safety.
Many parents are unsure if they need to sterilize the bottle often, but it is not necessary. In the past, because we couldn’t rely on how clean the water suppliers were, the process of cleaning had to be way more intense, but thankfully nowadays that is not an issue anymore. However, there are some cases in that you might need to sterilize the bottle again, which are:
In general, the process of sterilizing is really up to each individual but doing too often can damage the bottle and allow chemicals to leach into the milk, especially if the bottle has BPA in it – which is not the case with Yooforea’s glass silicone coated baby bottles free of any harmful substances and chemicals. Moreover, if you wash the baby bottles in the dishwasher with hot water and a heated drying cycle, sanitizing them with your hands is not required. If you decide to do it regularly, it is fine to stop once the baby is older than 3 months because their immune system is not going to be that fragile anymore.
When it comes to how to do it, there are different ways you could try. The main point is to kill bacteria using high temperatures or chemicals, and you can choose the one that best suits you and your budget. Bellow, there are some methods you could use:
This option can reach higher temperatures than boiling water, so it can kill more bacteria and mold. This option can be more pricey than other options, but it is definitely the quickest and easiest way if you would like to sterilize bottles frequently. All you need to do is to follow the instructions from the manufacturer.
If you are looking to purchase electric steam for bottle sterilizer, here are some recommendations:
Philips Avent Advanced Electric Steam Sterilizer
Babybrezza Steri-Dry Steam Sterilizer
Dr Brown’s Deluxe Bottle Sterilizer
Food-grade, chlorine-based sterilizing tablets are a good option when you are not at home and need to sterilize the baby bottle. All you need to do is to follow the instruction on the packaging to ensure proper effectiveness.

Buying baby bottles can be a difficult task for parents, especially when trying to find the best option in the market for their baby.
As we know, plastic baby bottles are the most common and popular among parents since it is easier to find. However, the more they learn about the effects of plastic on the baby’s health, the less they want to feed their kids with it. Nowadays, glass baby bottles are becoming the solution for many parents, also being a bit easier to find compared to a couple of years ago. Glass baby bottles have many advantages over plastic baby bottles, being the perfect way to bottle-feed your baby.
Some of the advantages of general glass baby bottles are:
No chemicals: They are chemicals and harmful substances free, so it is a safer option.
Easier to clean: Resistant to leaching, odours and staining.
Safe when exposed to higher temperatures: You can heat our bottles up to higher temperatures in case you would like to warm up some milk in the microwave or if you want to clean it and sanitize the bottle, with no risk of melting.
The taste is better: Glass bottles maintain the milk’s purity taste since plastic bottles absorb odours and impart flavours into breast milk or formula.
Durable: Glass bottles last way longer than plastic bottles in general.
Now, why should you consider Yooforea's glass silicone-coated baby bottles over other brands' glass baby bottles?
Seamless transition from breast to bottle: Our baby bottles are coated with silicone, which makes the transition as seamless as possible. The material is supple and soft to touch and works as a sensory link between their mother’s skin and the newly introduced physical object.
Lightweight: Compared to other bottles on the market, Yooforea's baby bottles are very lightweight.
Dishwasher and microwave safe: Feel free to add our bottles to your appliances as they won't damage them.
Safer: Yooforea’s bottles are even more special because they are coated with silicone, which makes them less likely to break and if it happens, the silicone prevents from making a mess and injuring babies and parents.
The painting in the bottle doesn't fade away: Even when in contact with higher temperatures, liquids or being used for a long time the painting remains the same. Our bottles are painted in glass and have a second layer of silicone protecting them from any substances that could damage them.

A study has shown that high levels of microplastics are released from plastic infant-feeding bottles during formula preparation across a range of temperatures.
This study has also determined the global average daily exposure to these particles for infants up to 12 months old.
The researchers developed a rigorous protocol based on World Health Organization guidelines to test how heat affects microplastics released from infant feeding bottles representing 69% of the global market share for this product.
To sterilize, the bottles are first soaked in 95℃water for 5 minutes and they are then air-dried. Water at 70℃ is poured into the bottle which is shaken for 60 seconds to simulate the formula mixing process. After the water had cooled, it was filtered to capture microplastic particles. The team’s experiments involved repeated testing of microplastic release with liquids of different temperatures, against controls, revealing that millions of microplastics are released into every litre of water when infant formula is prepared in plastic feeding bottles. When the water of higher temperatures is introduced into the bottles many millions more microplastic particles are released. These results were independently verified by a third-party laboratory.
To determine potential exposure rates for infants up to 12 months old across the globe, the researchers used socio-economic metrics and data-mining techniques concluding that on average infants are exposed to 1 million microplastic particles every day from plastic infant feeding bottles.
The team has developed a series of recommendations to mitigate infants’ exposure to microplastics. The four quickest and easiest steps are:
Other solutions include using glass bottles, though these are heavier for babies to hold and are breakable.

Your baby’s first two years are the most critical time in their development. The experiences they have now with food and feeding will set up for healthy growth and development now and for the years to come. Your babies have many ways to tell you they are hungry or full and you can learn to recognize and respond to these cues. This is called responsive feeding and it helps your child to get a healthy start in life.
What is responsive feeding?
Responsive feeding means that you:
A good way to think about it is that: you provide, your child decides.
How to tell when baby is hungry?
Even if your baby doesn’t have words yet, they have all kinds of ways to tell you when they are hungry and when they’ve had enough.
When your baby is hungry they may:
Birth to 5 Months Old
6 to 23 Months Old
These are your cues to breastfeed, give them a bottle or provide food in a warm and timely way which helps build trust and makes them feel secure.
How to tell when baby is full?
Just like when they’re hungry, your baby has all kinds of ways to tell you when they’ve had enough.
When your baby is full, they may:
Birth to 5 Months Old
6 to 23 Months Old
It’s common to want to encourage your baby to eat more. But ignoring their fullness cues can lead to unhealthy habits later like overeating. So do your best to trust and follow their early feeding cues.
Remember that when it comes to feeding: You provide, your child decides.
This sets your baby up for healthy growth and development.

During a baby's first year, one of the most exciting milestones is to learn how to self-feed, and the next step will be to teach your baby how to use a spoon. While your baby continues to explore food with their hands, you can start introducing spoons to your child, which can begin at around 10-12 months old.
To make sure the transition to self-feeding is smooth and safe, we should pay attention when it comes to selecting the spoons that the babies will put in their mouths and chew on repeatedly. With a smaller, sensitive mouth, the babies require the most care and need the right kind of spoon to help them build good eating habits and enjoy mealtimes.
Here are some features to consider.
Material
Baby spoons are made of a variety of materials, ranging from metal and wood to plastic and silicone. Parents should ensure the spoon is completely free of harmful materials like BPA, BPS, lead and preservatives. Pediatricians recommend that a spoon made of silicone will be better for your baby because of the soft texture and grippy material. Meanwhile, a soft-tipped spoon explicitly designed for babies is a good choice because it is gentle on your child's gums.
Size and Shape
Depending on your baby's age, you should choose the right spoon bowl to help with portion control and help prevent overfeeding and gagging. For early-stage feeding, you'd better select a very smaller and shallower spoon bowl than regular ones, which is the easiest design for early feeders.
Length
If you are first introducing spoons, look for spoons with wide and chubby handles and non-slip material handles that will make it easy for little hands to hold onto and pick up. Longer-handle spoons are preferable when parents are feeding babies.
Cost
The price of spoons could vary differently. Many moms would grab the cheapest pack of brightly coloured spoons and couldn't realize the mistake until they found the spoons were full of teeth marks because their babies were chewing them up at every meal. The worst part was not buying a new spoon, but that you never know how many harmful chemicals the babies might have chewed off and what impact that will have on their health.
With all the information above, I hope that it is helpful for you to find the right baby spoon. You could also check out and consider Yooforea's best selling baby spoon, which is designed with all the features and concerns in mind.

Silicone with UV treatment has a multiplicity of positive properties of silicone. The modified surface repels ions on stain particles, thereby preventing contamination or adhesion of stains. This also makes the surface easily cleanable and more effective in preventing the buildup of water spots.
]]>
Silicone is a widely used plastic alternative in various baby feeding products due to its excellent mechanical properties, resistance to temperature fluctuations, and non-toxic nature.
However, putting all those desired benefits aside, the natural characteristics of silicone surfaces have made most parents hesitate before buying. The typical issues with silicone products are:
This is because natural silicone has a high level of stickiness, making it sensitive to stains, odors, and dust and difficult to clean.
But what does it mean to Yooforea? As a Baby Feeding Products Producer, we have to overcome the challenges and take the responsibility to find a reliable and optimal solution.
Therefore, at Yooforea, we decided to work with industry experts to develop a strategy to improve undesirable silicone properties. So we found the UV treatment process. Since we are so proud of finding this solution, we want to share with you all about it.
What is UV treatment?
UV treatment is a solution that allows the production of smooth surfaces with permanently improved silicone properties.
Let’s put our lab coats on and talk about how UV treatment works. After Yooforea products formed into a solid shape and before packaging, we added an extra procedure where all products undergo a UV treatment process. During this process, the silicones were converted through irradiation with Ultraviolet to a silicon-inorganic material and formed a thin protective layer on the product surface without requiring an additional coating.
Silicone with UV treatment has a multiplicity of positive properties of silicone. The modified surface repels ions on stain particles, thereby preventing contamination or adhesion of stains. This also makes the surface easily cleanable and more effective in preventing the buildup of water spots.

The improved Yooforea platinum silicone products are reliable upgraders. We hope our effort is helpful and reassuring for concerned parents.
At Yooforea, we are doing all we can and only want to provide the safest and healthiest options for our children-----not only the products that are alternatives to traditional chemical-leaching plastics, but we also want the best and the most superior replacements in many ways.
So, let’s explore more safe and trusted options at Yooforea!
]]>In recent years, silicone is considered the perfect alternative to plastic for many parents who are trying to minimize their babies' exposure to plastics. It is more environmentally friendly and food safe. But are all silicones safe? Why are similar silicone dishware sold at different prices? Let's take a look together:
The fact is that not all silicone is created equally. In terms of curing methods, silicone is cured with either peroxide or platinum.
Peroxide curing is more cost-effective but results in byproducts, which tend to be volatile organic acids. It is because this requires fillers in the curing process. It may contain contaminants that are similar to plastic.
On the other hand, Platinum curing is more expensive and has no by-products. The resulting silicone is purer and cleaner. Due to its excellent purity, it is favored by many food, beverage, and medical industries. This also makes it the perfect material for use in sensitive environments as it will not contaminate any food or liquid it comes into contact with.
In addition to its purity, platinum cured silicone also provides superior physical properties compared to standard silicone:
• Non-yellowing
• Higher tear strength
• Better flexibility
• Excellent non-stick effect
• Resistance to high temperatures and aging
It's also important to note that ones should not solely rely on FDA tests (US Food and Drug Administration) because most FDA-approved products are peroxide cured that may contain nasty fillers and byproducts. Indeed, ones should also look for the LFGB certified symbol. It is German food regulating organization that has the strictest certification process around the globe.
When choosing silicone products, we need to make sure that we are choosing the highest performing and the purest silicone products with the highest level of safety testing and certifications. So that we can provide babies with the safest and healthiest start possible.

Study finds that babies are consuming tremendous levels of microplastics particles.
Children are particularly vulnerable to these effects on a child’s development of brain or their metabolism, because their organs are just developing, and could result in a permanent and lifelong consequences.
]]>
As your baby starts baby led weaning, the first thing to consider is what are the right and safe gears for your little eaters.
Here’s what you need to know before weighing your options.
Study finds that babies are consuming tremendous levels of microplastics particles. The recommended high-temperature process for properly sterilizing plastic feeding products introduces millions of microplastics particles or even trillions of smaller nanoplastics particles.
When researchers sterilized the plastic baby bottles and exposed them to water at 70 degrees Celsius, about 16.2 millions of microplastic particles per liter were released. As the temperature increased up to 95 degrees Celsius, about 55 millions of microplastic particles were released into the water.
Meanwhile, at 25 degree Celsius, only about 600,000 plastics particles were found, but 25 degree Celsius is far too cool to pass the international guidelines for proper sterilization. The most surprising finding was that even you have room temperature water, if you shake it for a minute, you could still find the presence of hundreds and thousands of microplastics released into the water.
There is clearly a direct correlation between temperature of the water and the number of microplastics released, so the higher the temperature of the water, the more microplastics are released.
Though very little is currently known about the effect of microplastics on humans, if microplastics do indeed have negative impact on humans, children could be more at risk since they are exposed to far more microplastics than adults do.
“There is evidence that microplastics are linked to chemicals that have effects on hormones and metabolism, according to Dr.Leonardo Trasande, Director of the NYU Center for the Investigation of Environmental Hazard.”
Children are particularly vulnerable to these effects on a child’s development of brain or their metabolism, because their organs are just developing, and could result in a permanent and lifelong consequences.
The presence of high levels of microplastics found urges the need for more research into the effect of microplastics have on humans, particularly on infants.
Microplastics have contaminated every aspect of our lives, so while we will never get rid of them, we can at least reduce our baby’s risk and exposure by choosing the safe feeding gear is an important step to protect our baby from consuming microplastics particles.
